Here's how I replaced the belt in the Penney's MCS 2230 stereo system. Although difficult, it did work out and now everything works fine. There does seem to be some noise in the mechanism, perhaps that of gears that need greasing or something similar. The controls were also cleaned. I haven't made the speaker cables or fixed the other glass front panel yet.
